Focusing on the export axis of various Egyptian products is one of the most important elements in strengthening and doubling the nation’s income, a directive emphasized by President Abdel Fattah El-Sisi in most of his speeches and instructions to both the government and the private sector. It is also considered a pillar of national security to protect the country from falling into the trap of consumer imports and the widening gap between production and meeting citizens’ needs.
This strategy is followed by Dr. Abdelrahman El-Feky, Director of the National Export and Import Company, who is keen to participate in all forums and conferences, both locally and regionally, to expand his network, exchange information about requirements and products that can be met and exchanged between Egypt and various countries.
In this context, he was keen to attend the Fifth World Forum for Cultural Diplomacy, organized by the International Commission for Tolerance under the slogan “Best Practices in Cultural Diplomacy,” with the participation of several Arab and foreign personalities at a hotel in Cairo. This aimed to connect with key figures, especially business people, to strengthen cooperation and trade exchange relations.
Dr. El-Feky stated, “By the grace of God, we have agreed to conclude several agreements for exporting many Egyptian products, which will benefit everyone, especially producers and manufacturers, as well as agreements to import some requirements and products needed by the Egyptian market.”
Major General Mustafa Abdel Hamid, the company’s Coordinator for External Relations, continues the discussion, confirming that the primary goal is to promote Egyptian products, open new markets for their marketing and promotion, and exchange scientific and commercial experiences to serve Egyptian society, especially in light of economic openness and globalization that has made the entire world a small village.
